best seafood place I've been at since the coast. that homemade tartar sauce is the bomb. definitely my new seafood spot
We had haddock, calamari, halibut nuggets, fries and onion rings. For $30, barely enough food for one. The fries and onion rings were sparse and extremely over-cooked..calamari were tiny and very few of them. Haddock was very tiny and very thin..no flavour to it. Haddock nuggets were good.. just not many. They need to improve on their food handling and safety. The cooks had no apron and gloves on ...one was handling raw fish, coleslaw, and seafood with no gloves, not washing, and touching the cool fridge handles. The other was texting on his cell phone and not washing hands or using gloves...cell phones have dangerous bacteria like Ecoli and Salmonella ...worse than a toilet. I hope we don't get sick from eating here. Health and Food Safety may need to educate them with the basic Food Handling and Safety Course..before they get closed down for this. We will never eat here again and we have family living here in Enderby.
Welcoming and friendly owner. The fish tacos are excellent. The fish is fresh and very flavorful. The fries weren't my favorite; a little overcooked.
I stopped by this restaurant a few months back on the way home from work. I ordered fish and chips and I was blown away. The fish just melted in your mouth, and the batter was crispy and the right thickness, unlike many fish and chip dishes where the batter usually overpowers the fish. Definitely one of the best fish & chip places I've been to in my life.
Excellent little fish and chips joint. The lunch special is great for under $8.00. Their homemade tartar sauce is one of the best around and well worth eating in. The halibut was nice and light and flaky, not too greasy and cooked to perfection. This place has got a greasy spoon feel to it and is quite small and quaint inside. Definitely worth popping in for a bite.
