Very poor service, the waiters butt was sticking out the top of his jeans, went twice and got the wrong food made both times. Very underwhelming and will not be back. Called the phone line which is a private cell left a message with my questions and information and never received a call back. Very unprofessional.

It's cool here. Lots of live music and there is this jalapeno cocktail that is so good that gives me heart burn everytime (no ones fault but mine) but I just cant stop...
The Small Axe Bistro is an unassuming building that hides a delightful little restaurant. They have a great menu of comfort foods like poutine, nachos, burgers, and tacos. Plus, they have a surprising amount of vegan options, with at least one item in every category on the menu. The vegan poutine (The Gatherer) was excellently done, and nearly had me licking the dish. I also would have loved to try the homemade yam and legume burger, but I can only eat so much! The Small Axe Bistro is a must try if you're in the neighborhood!
Food is incredible albeit slightly "drippy", ask for extra napkins. I just wish the tacos weren't as expensive as they are (6$ each) - you'll need a minimum of two. The girl who made our drinks wasn't the best, the margarita was basically put lime juice and sour as hell. Also took a surprisingly long time to get waters / menus.
